Planning for a storm

The news was interviewing a couple who are “stranded” on the Yucatán peninsula because of Delta.  “2020 has been a challenge with the wedding planning and now this.

Stranded? What we would have done “stranded” but then we were 19 and full of hormones and I was shipping out in 3 months.

Anyway, from Marry Me Mon, “when planning your wedding consider when and where and the farmers almanac- hurricanes happen in the fall. History and past news reports of honeymooners “stranded” in Cancun is so passé.  Not unlike typhoons unless you are not planning to have a child in 9 months. Same for cruises.

Yes, 2020 has been an anomaly for sure but fall hurricanes are not. Plan accordingly.”
