Coffee and Discussions on Safety, Philosophy, Religion, and Art

What do you want to discuss over a good cup of coffee? Here is where you can do that. But sometimes an old crusty master sergeant and professor wants to have his way.

Coffee Concentrate - the choices

Cold Brew as it is called is making the shelves this summer.  I became aware of this when one of the guys brought into work some cold brew for us to try.  Really not bad at all.  So while out in Colorado and visiting a Trader Joe's (you have to know that for years TJ was not going to move to Colorado for reasons) and while I was looking for some coffee there it was, a Cold Brew coffee concentrate.  Must have if for no other reason but the give it a try.
Now I liked the stuff but my daughter was not impressed.  She doesn't like TJ's coffee so I think the well is dirtied there.  But as someone posted on FaceBook, you can make your own.
But before I get into that, have you had BK coffee?  It is a syrup concentrate coffee but geesh, I hate that coffee.  An organization I worked for had that coffee in the cafeteria and choke... Terrible.  We were in Germany for some work when during the Christmas Market visit I wanted coffee and a restroom and BK fit that bill.  So I went for the coffee and found out they used the same stuff I avoided at work.  No wonder - ahhhhh.

Ok, so how does one make coffee concentrate?  Go to the search engine and type.  So many ways - and a pinterest link or two as well.
Now I have not tried these but as I was looking through the various "recipes" I was thinking about that perfect blend and if I could actually have a cold brewed jar in the fridge ready at a moments notice???

(Now I have the TJ and mixed it with almond milk over ice.  No sweetener needed.  Very good.)
